I'm in west Texas area and wanted to get an idea of what people are paying to get their downpipes installed. I bought a set of used evolve dps and do I need to get any gaskets before the install?

Forgot to add I have both the primary and secondary downpipes.

You shouldn’t need anything else. Not familiar with the Evolve pipes, but they either do or don’t reuse the factory gaskets. I recall installation costing $350-$400. It should be 2.5 hours.

I may have to take a road trip to Austin. In El Paso got quoted from a few places from 400-900$ plus any parts needed and that's from just regular shops. Found one performance shop that works on imports and they've never worked on an m5. They did work on an ra7 and did dps for it and it took them all day and they had to modify and cut the pipes. So didn't give me a confident feel.

I'm willing to travel to get a better price and a knowledgeable tech that's worked on these cars.

Is there any shop in the DFW area the members can recommend for any mechanical or upgrades. I was thinking of installing a front lip and the Dinan air cold air intake on my 2019 M5C.

I just reached out to them today and they quoted me 870 for labor for installing primary downpipes.

They lost money on that job so they raised their prices. You never know what you are getting into so you have to add some margin. Will the DP fit without any resistance? Probably but not for sure. Maybe you could find someone to do it for $500 or less under the table.

Anyone still interested I came across heritage autohaus in Pflugerville. Had them do some maintenance on the car and talked to them about doing the primaries. 700 for the install. Super cool guys and they did a great job. Recommend them if you're in the area.

Check out Torqqe in the Dripping Springs area (suburb of Austin). A little pricey but top notch shop and work. Friend of mine paid 600ish for them to install catless secondaries.
