What are the advantages (weighing costs) for a diffuser ?

racing to create downforce. For street use, it will not help much and may cause your car to bottom out on humps, bumps, etc.

It's all about looks for street cars, G30 included. Functionally, they do nothing,

I want to make good additions to my car but want to make sure there is value to it. While I like the diffuser wasn't sure it's going to make any difference as a daily driver.

A G30 diffuser does nothing but look different. Only reason I call it this instead of a bumper insert is because of the name BMW gives it.
