Flip down license plate

Anyone have experience using one. I saw the electric ones which look cool but might be overkill. Are they more or less stable for driving? Mostly I don't want NY highway tickets.

Thanks
Mike

I have a flip out plate. It's installed in the center under my bumper. Works just fine. My biggest issue is forgetting to open It.

Thanks! Do you ever drive on the highway with it out? Any issues?

What tickets are you talking about? Are they automatic camera tickets? red light or speed? I thought they were illegal in US.... or there is still a way to fight them on privacy violation

By tickets I mean I'm trying to avoid no front plate tickets. Not tickets for having a retractable plate.

Thanks
Mike

What brand mount did you use? Did you install yourself?
