This guy is trying to sell his Colorado "M3" license plate for $1000
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Thought it was only other countries vying for coveted number and custom plates. BMWCCA classifieds ad for ownership of Colorado "M3" vanity plates at $1000 - genius or ? |

One of the most satisfying things I've seen is a cheap car wearing a 5-6 figure number plate. So cool. |

There was an auction this year by the state for a few of the "coveted" plates that had not been previously released, so it is very possible that the owner won this plate there and is now trying to make some money back on it.

I live in CO and the extra $60 to get a personalized plate from the DMV puts it right on the edge of worthwhile. Can't fathom spending $1k on this.
