Got it from the BMW dealer in Hawaii... cost me $140.00. I thought about getting the matte finish from eBay for $60.00 but I only wanted the OE part.

I got mine for around $52 each, so about $110 with tax and everything. If you shop around enough, you can usually get a better price. The dealership is never the cheapest option. Keep in mind these are BMW Performance grilles and have a high gloss look to them. If you want matte black, you're better off going the cheaper route and buying from the vendors on here.

So did you just buy the stock grills from them and have them paint it a gloss black or this is a part that they specifically carry regularly and sell as an accessory. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, they were for the pair. But they are sold individually, I got a discount from my parts guy... so it came out to about $70.00 per kidney. I'm not sure about the cheapest option, but that was the only way I could be sure I was getting OE parts and not some knock-offs from eBay. |

No problem. No, this is its own part through BMW Performance. You'd keep your original grille and install this new one.

The list price for these is $72.50 at about every BMW dealership I've called. You saved a whopping $2.50 per grille. Dunno how the markup is down there in Hawaii but.... They are specific grilles listed in the BMW Performance catalogue. They come in gloss black, not chrome. No painting necessary. As OP stated, just take out your old grilles and pop these in.

Anyone have a comparison picture between Matte Black and High Gloss?
