Selling paper shares
I'm wanting to sell some paper based (bought before online trading), if anyone has any advice on how and which company would be easiest to do this it would be much appreciated. Tia.

As and when you get a dividend payment (if by cheque) or your annual statement there is often a letter with it offering their own service for sales, though prices aren't usually that competitive.
Failing which, if you have an online shareholding account you can transfer paper shares into that, usually at no cost, and take advantage of their online dealing price Alternatively, Halifax and HSBC both did still do a paper share dealing service a few years ago, though the prices are a lot higher than for non-paper services. |
