Maintenance upgrade to full coverage worth it?

I am picking up my 2021 M5C on Saturday. I do not typically purchase warranty/maintenance add-ons with any of my leases however I was curious about the brakes on the M5. Has anyone needed brakes replaced or have any issues with the brakes under 36k miles?

I have never purchased the below for my other BMWs and while I will push the M5 at times with everyday driving, I will not be tracking the car. I am leaning towards not taking it but any feedback is greatly appreciated before I let the dealer know. Thanks!

Maintenance upgrade to FULL (includes Brakes (pads, discs, rotors), wipers, engine belts and Manual Clutches) for 3yr/36k miles = $749+Tax

One other note is that the maintenance becomes transferrable to the next owner as well. This is helpful if you do lease transfers often.

Exciting, congratulations on the new ride!! Please post pics. I purchased the warranty and I believe it is good to have. You would enjoy your car and not worry about anything. Also keep in mind that the price is negotiable too. Enjoy in good health and stay safe!!

Thanks, I will post pics as soon as I pick it up.

Good to know it is transferable
Also, glad to hear it is negotiable. I did a quick search and saw the Ultimate Care Plus was $600, so I'll see if I can get them down to there.

Thanks again, appreciate it

I got a set of pads and 3 sets of wipers out of the care+ plan on 2 different cars (M3 and X5). It was a bit of a stretch to squeeze the pads in with the M3, but the SA was making sure they got every last bit on my last service. The heavier cars are much more likely to eat through them. I'd say it's worth it, a set of wipers every year gets you close to halfway there.

Thanks.
Dealer ended up agreeing to my negotiated price, so I added it. Made sense after I looked up how much a brake job can run. Won't want to deal with that down the road.

I do a reasonable amount of miles and always get 15k miles/year for the 3 years. That being the case, I always get the protection plan, if only for pads and rotors, since I drive the shit out of these cars and invariably need them well before lease end. Definitely negotiate, and don't pay what they initially ask.

Congratulations! Pics when you get them! (I'm only about a month away from putting an order in, and can't wait!)
