I am going to install my Goodridge soon. They have a lifetime warranty. The ones I bought from Tire Rack have the clear plastic covering over the braided hose and this will cloud up over time, but does not affect performance. For a little more money you can order Goodridge from the UK with colored plastic sleeves over the braid.
I have put braided lines on a few cars and never noticed any difference compared to good working condition stock lines, but my driving is street driving.
