Don't get me wrong. I bought an M and don't want a sleeper. That's what a m550i is for. But cmon. My 2014 X5 50i has an equal if not better growl than my M5.

Also noticed the M850i has a more bassy V8 growl as compared to both the M5 and M8. Weird.
I do like the pops and bangs when I'm in the mood though.
