I'm all for ICE performance cars - look at my garage. That said, EVs will take over. Once the real manufacturers start dialing in the handling, feel and lean on other innovations to bring the same handling feel to EVs, the only reason we will be pining for a super complex ICE setup (and lets face it, ICE is more complex to run) will be for nostalgia... just like having a mechanical Rolex Daytona or Patek.

The Taycan S comes closest to an awesome car regardless of powertrain - but still feels heavy and I don't necessarily like the way it looks for a 4 door. I much prefer the traditional look of a 5 series.

It's just a matter of time - we, as fans of ICE, will be the old people in the corner knowing the ins and outs of the otto cycle, but everyone else in the world won't care... while smoking us in or slow ass dino juice run cars.
