Are you opining that it is it common for (tire ) companies to provide data over their previous model ? While many companies will say " the new blah blah blah ". is "X" percent better ... do they usually provide full specs and test data against their old product to show that improvement ?

Is releasing test data showing improvement over your own product actually impressive?
Well, not if you want the fanboys who claim to be replacing MPSS at launch to buy.
And not if there isn't a real improvement.
And god forbid BMW would have not released spec numbers where a 340i could be compared to a 335i....
Besides, I haven't even seen data for key metrics on MPS4S as I have pointed out.
And if MPSS weaknesses where they lost to SC6 are not revealed with new model....what's behind the curtain oh great and mighty oz?
You get the point.
