I think the first issue might be how the tips attach to the pipes on the M8. They obviously just slide on the M5 and are centered on by that little pin that sticks out. Is that how they are held to the M8 pipes too? Or are they possibly welded on (which would make it hard to fit to the M5 then). |
OK, we have an answer—it's a "never gonna work, guv'na". The M8 exhaust tips can physically swallow the M5 tips.
