You do realize that showing this video completely misses the entire arch of The Newsroom.
Later on in the show....much later on, in the final season, they cross paths (she ends up working with him) and he makes her ask that question again.
She timidly asks again, starkly remembering how it went last time she asks the question, but this time he responds with "You do".
I don't remember much off that show but I do remember that. Most of the time I sat there yelling internally at Aaron Sorkins lofty and preachy writing style saying to myself "NOBODY TALKS THIS WAY IN REAL LIFE!".
