Yes. I bought my M5 in November in the GTA and was able to secure a new 2019 M5 for about $20K off MSRP. I remember looking at 2020 models thinking the same as you but there wasn't a huge discount. Dealers may be more willing now however. Budds BMW and Pfaff have some 2020 inventory they might not have sold yet.
