I drove up to SF with my girlfriend several weeks back in my M3, I stayed at the Marriott in Union Square, I just paid a little extra for the "VIP" parking and they left my car towards the front of the valley service entrance for the duration of my three days there. I walked or took public transportation while I was there, only time I drove was on the last day to cruise on the Golden Gate bridge. Just as a heads up, the 5>80>580 are TERRIBLE freeways up north, the potholes are the size of moon craters, I pulled over so many times to check the condition of my tires.
