I don't know about the quality difference of the Chinese spoilers vs OEM, but I can say that I've had no quality issues with the Carbon Fiber rear spoiler on my E92, and it's from China.
If you're not willing to pay the full price for OEM, then Chinese eBay spoilers are really your only option.
