Ha! I didn't mean to start an argument. I was genuinely wondering what damage I could have caused to my car by going hard on it for a Nurburgring lap and for a pull or two on the Autobahn.
It seems there's a lot of speculation about what exactly is going on during break-in, but there are no real concrete facts. Most people just say something along the lines of, "It wouldn't say there was a break-in period if there wasn't."
That said, I plan on taking it easy for the rest of the trip.
