These are porterfield brake pads, anyone can install them, its no different then installing a different brand pad. The issue with the rear pad had been fixed as i verified this with porterfield staff at their production facility in Costa Mesa, CA when i placed my order earlier this year.
Pads eliminate noise entirely but not the dust, although its significantly improved over stock, i also did not notice any performance drop over stock pad.
I'm curious to see dust levels on "Powerstops" once they release them hopefully end of this year, if we rely on historical data their pads produce nearly no dust.. but performance may suffer a bit so it will be interesting to compare. Also their price point should be much cheaper than overpriced Porterfields..
