We had a good weekend at Auto Club Speedway for the third round of the Redline Time Attack.
Rich Taylor filled in for Paul Walker in the AE M3 and set the new street tire RWD lap record and for the first time won overall in the street tire class with a time of 1.47.345. Below is the details and a couple of vids from the weekend.
æ Performance and Hankook take home First Place and set a new track record!
æ Performance just returned from Auto Club Speedway Round 3 of Redline Time Attack. An intense lineup of competitors were in at- tendance for the weekend, as it was hosted at the nail biting, high speed Auto Club Speedway “Ro- val” in Fontana California.
Rich Taylor filled in for Paul Walker this weekend in the æ Performance Hankook E92 M3 and took top honors once again in Street RWD Class and also for the first time an Overall Class win, finally besting the AWD competitors that usually bring home the Street Class fast laps. Thanks to our newly installed OS Giken rear Differential, an OG Aero Systems front splitter and a new data acquisition system installed and operated by AIM Sports, we were able to drop 3 seconds from last season breaking the
previous track record (also set by Rich Taylor) with a time of 1:47.345.
