I've not seen the 789's powder-coated in any color other than black.
If you're an OEM / OEM + kind of person I would stick with the 789's but if you're looking for something more individual than I would go aftermarket and 21" would be my choice hands-down.
It's subjective of course so do whatever works best for you.
The roads where you live are an important factor when deciding to go w/ 21" wheels.
I've gone with 21's on my last 3 M5's including my current 19' M5C and love the aesthetics. With that said, I live in Miami where the roads are very good.
