This is a picture taken from the pamphlet of my local BMW dealer. I live in Montreal. Prices are in Cdn dollars and a 15% tax needs to be added.
I did not go down that route although I wanted to fit 19's for the winter.
I ordered a set of GTS wheels (510) that I have fitted with Michelin Alpin (265 40 R19). I will never drive with Sottozero's again… ever ! To my knowledge and following my research, Michel Alpin and Pirelli Sottozero are the only two winter tires available in that size.
I had sent an email to GTS wheel prior to my order. They assured me that the wheels I have ordered do fit the M5 comp. GTS also manufactures the 505 wheel that does fit our vehicle as well.
BTW, the size of the brakes of the M5 and M5 comp is the same. As far as Carbon Ceramic is concerned, I do not know. However, the CC brakes are available on the normal M5. So why would your dealer tell you that 19 inch wheels do not fit on the Comp; only on the normal M5 if it is only a matter of brakes ?
