So is the consensus to skip a professional ceramic coat for the wheels? I received my new wheels and am being offered a discount to do the ceramic coating from my pro as they are pretty much prepped for application and have no tires.

For my OEM wheels, I have tried all sorts of waxes and spray on coats. They make it easier to clean for one or two washes then it is back to normal. I know new brake pads are the long term solution. But wondering if a professional coating is even worth it or just continue to wash it well.

Has anyone tried the home version of applied coatings like Gyeon Rim. Maybe that is a good alternative or in between solution.
