the admin fee is a bullshit fee...the dealers are simply trying to squeeze a few more dollars off you...
a 'fee' for administration??? thats the cost of doing business!!!
if you look at the newspapers, and read the fine print on BMW deals, it will say "plus administration fee (if any)..."

it annoys me so much
i got '1500' off msrp, but really its only 1200 off, bec they get you back with the 299 admin fee
so next time ask for 1800 or 2000 off your 3 series, and do not go in to the sales persons office until they agree to it by phone
my sales person called me a few times and i forced the 1500 off my e92, only to get dinged by the 299
there are other brands available for my next car!!
