Not all of them but a lot of the $200-500k exotics are just lame these days. 488 and F8 are both completely boring at any speeds, the Aventador has always been an absolute turd...these cars have zero feel for the road, understeer instead of moving around in any interesting way, the turbocharged modern exotics have significant turbo lag and don't make any interesting sounds while some of the N/A ones like the Aventador in particular feel absurdly slow. I honestly didn't tell anyone how much I hated the first Aventador I drove because I assumed it was just broken but the second Aventador S I got to drive was the same, somehow the Huracan feels much quicker (that one's not half bad aside from cramped driver ergonomics).

I'm not saying any F90 M5 variant is necessarily better than those types of cars, only that I can see it as possible that someone's tastes may prefer it because it also is not much worse than some of the more lame cars in this category.
