I believe you. It could be your iphone and/or the artificial lighting screwing up the color cast. The pics look make it look more like "Geyser grey" (as in the 991 below) than Fashion Grey.
FG is a cooler tone of grey, like in the GT3 below, and I've always really liked it. Almost like a lighter shade of Nardo. But that's the problem with all off-whites. In certain lighting -- they look like crap.
