Thanks for all the information guys. When I get back home, I'll be sure to look into the BMW CCA and their events. They seem to have the best organization. I'm not looking to win anything, I'm just trying to find an event to let me test the capabilities of this awesome car more so than I could legally on normal roads and to improve my skills as a driver.
