Actually Subaru Impreza WRX STi has a most capable AWD system of ANY road car. Period. Who wants to know more, google it...
Audi/Quattro has different AWD systems, not all being equally capable - some are very basic, haldex based (all models with transverse mounted engines like A1, A3, S3), and some very advanced awd, like RS5 for example with "Crown Gear" mechanical central diff, rear axle sport diff and torque vectoring.
