Not that I could tell, but I didn’t have a lot of time with the car before the rug was pulled out from under me!
Honestly guys, don’t overthink it. I’m fairly certain BMW released this as a whole new software build because it would make it that much easier to test and verify the corrected emissions programming is installed (or not). Which will help them in evidencing remediation to the govt authorities whom I’m certain dictated a huge part of the approach, and timing for this whole thing. One misstep and BAM, millions of Euros in fines!
