Does anyone else find they poor reception sometimes with analog radio in what should be good conditions.

I was driving through a suburb of London today, it was damp and cloudy - but not that bad, and found I was getting crackling on Radio 4.

Radio 4 should be a very strong signal and this is not the first time I have had interference when I really would not expect to.
