My thread stands as USA lights on USA cars, with USA turn signal and brake light sequence. To this day there is no solution to what I describe in my initial guide. My welcome lights are just turned off in IDrive. I never got any errors, no errors at the dealer and I've been enjoying this mod a lot, and so are many people on this board.

Also member by the name GTAX found that solution, when with the key fob you can still turn on the Walk Me Home lights, and I use that time to time if I want to see angel eyes and etc work upon opening my car.

I totally agree mismatching coding with us or euro lights, then coding us vs euro is totally different. I personally love the us lights function and even if we don't get welcome lights it's not a big deal as pathway lights are good enough with an extra push of a button.
