unfortunately it is. But in reality its more like a LCI 2 refresh of the 458.
Usually Ferrari does 10 year model runs with a moderate update in the middle. The 360/430 were mostly the same chassis but they updated most of the running gear and engine. The 458/488 again were the same car basically with an updated exterior and engine.
The F8 tribute looks basically like another update instead of a whole new car from the ground up. The engine is the same one in the 488.
