Same with my (base) M5.
This is the reason I keep it in comfort 75% of the time unless on highway and smooth roads.
My belief is the car is just a fat heavy pig with wide tires, and to find an optimal suspension is difficult, in all the settings.
perhaps the designers had to sacrifice in certain areas.
