I can't speak for your dealership but here's my experience from working at a Toyota and then Honda dealer: SCAM !! Both stores offered similar "Paint Protection" and all it consisted of was a detail kid making $7.00 an hour applying "polish" to the car. We were constantly getting complaints from people who paid for it and 3-6 months later the car needed polishing again, if not sooner. One sold "Xzlion" and the other was "Paint Guard" and they charged anywhere from $200.00 to $975.00 depending on how gulliable the customer was.
