My wife and I enjoy the sound of the BW stereo in the M5. For the cost of the system I believe it is worth the price of admission. One could buy an Audison bit one audio processor and add it in to the M5 and adjust the system to your liking.

I'm in my 50's and back in the 80's when I was young Marine I installed Rockford Fosgate amps, speakers, and subs in my 1984 Camaro Z-28.

When I purchased my 2008 Tacoma double cab 4X4 new the first thing I did was remove the stock horrible sounding speakers and head unit. In went a JL Audio HD900/5 amp, Eclipse CD-7200MKII (passive head unit), full interior Dynamat sound damping material, JL Audio slim 13.5" sub, Hybird Audio Technologies (HAT) Clarius 6.5 for the front, and HAT 6.5 coaxial speakers. I still have the Taco today and it is my everyday driver.
