Break in service (1200 miles) in US
It seems most U.K./EU members had a software update during their RIS but there is not a lot of info from US members. For the break in / run in service in the USA, did your dealer have to perform a software update? If yes, do you get any details about the update, how long did it take, and did you notice any difference after? Also, if a software update was required on US cars, were you able to decline it and still have the rest of the service performed?
