When you are listening to the station you want to store in the preset list, all you need to do is to press and
HOLD the iDrive controller, and you will be prompted to store the station.

Once you have selected the "Preset" in the Radio Menu, you can use the right scroll wheel on your steering wheel to choose the preset stations. Just scroll and press.
