I line AWD for big power because it puts the power to the ground under circumstances where RWD would be spinning or engaging traction control and reducing power. RWD with big power is OK with sticky tires in warm and dry weather, but weather is not always warm and dry where I live. The F90 is bigger and heavier and feels that way, but that is OK with me. I want more comfort and space and practicality. A young guy might feel differently — I did not want a big 5 series when I was in my 30s; I had an M3.
