What is that supposed to mean? Surely if we are talking about premium sports cars then Great Britain has the best along side of Italy.
I make it no secret that I'm a longtime fan of both Jag and Aston, but I can see where "British sportscars" have lost much of their old prestige in recent years. Jag and Aston both lost a step while under Ford ownership (for a number of reasons; not necessarily a "Ford" specific problem), and--despite still making some good cars during this time period--people noticed.

Jag is coming on strong now though; I look forward to seeing more of the F-Type variants.
