What would be the front?

If you put 305 on the back the front needs to be 295 to be within 1.3% Circum.

But 295 needs to be on 10" rim and your's are 9.5"

You can put 285 front and 305 back on stock rims and that will push it up to 1.8%

Some people are ok with 1.8%
I prefer to be 1.3 or less
305/30/20?
You can put 305/30/20 but you need 285/35/19up front. That would work and it's 1.1%
You still need to switch the front rims one size down in diameter
Is there a 305/30/20 scenario that would allow a 20" tire in the front?

I'm trying to achieve maximum traction (using Mp4s) but stay in the acceptable xdrive tolerance.
No, that would make it worse -2.5%

Again you can put 305/35/20 back and 285/35/20 front that would be 1.8%
I have seen people on this forum using this setup
I like to stay below 1.3%

I am going to post mine as soon as a decide what rims and offset I will go with
This scenario puts me at 1.8%.....thoughts?
305/30/20
285/30/20
Will work fine.
Stocks are off at 1.1% so differential are calibrated for that... in reality you are off only 0.7%
