I agree with you. There are C7Z's hitting 130, but the average is 126-129. Aero was a major issue on the C7Z - removing down to a stage 1 aero setup can add about 2 MPH. The heat soak issues were another massive issue - and they have not been fixed (the angling of bricks 7&8 and a taller lid is not enough - although I'm sure it helps). I know this because the ZL1 adds 11 coolers (and apparently that has made that car fairly solid for heat soak now - as you can't really ever escape heat soak with a super charger - especially a roots blower). I get what GM wanted to do - keep the C7Z NA, and after that couldn't happen - they added the smallest blower they could. Smaller - plus high revving made owners swap out that stock unit very quickly.
