Any tune will void your warranty. You can remove tuners like the JB4, but BMW can see that you had it on there. They can look at things like boost pressures and see that it was running above stock.
No matter how good a relationship you have with the dealer it won't save you from BMW. If you blow an engine BMW will likely send out their own rep.
Looking at some other posts about blown n20's due to timing chain failure, you are looking at $15-20k for parts and labor for a new engine.
