I was told that the wipers are not covered by the free maintenance here in Canada. I believe that wipers are covered in the US however.

Thanks for the tip, I'll see if the same deal applies to F30 wipers. Still haven't found out whether they're the same as E90 wipers or not.
I'd be interested in hearing whether anyone gets them covered by the Canadian maintenance program, but I'm not hopeful.
