The 19's look better to me too. I haven't driven the 19's so I can't give you a comparison, but in my other cars there is always a small but noticeable difference in compliance with less wheel. It isn't a game changer, but I am always a little surprised by how the ride is a bit harsher when I switch from my smaller winter rims to my summers. That being said, the m5 I test drove had 20's and in comfort, I thought the ride was very compliant. If I didn't order a comp pack, I would have spec'd the 19's.
