Update from the installer: precut was used for the carbon fiber roof and gloss black parts. But the stealth parts were all custom done to ensure no edges left visible. The only difficult parts were behind the door handles and on either ends of where the trunk meets the bumper. He had to create patches.
Also he noted that with the metallic flakes on the bmw metallic paints, it actually shines through the stealth film. Makes it look more wet satin than flat matte in direct sunlight.
