Just wanted to update the situation. BMW called this morning told me they would give me the option to replace the entire engine because they cannot pinpoint the problem. Was told they opened the valve covers of bank 1 to check lifters and other components. Had to call in the technical manager and he decided for the engine swap. I appreciate that they are trying to fix the problem but i will be without my car for 6 weeks im guessing, the engine has to come from germany and would take 3-4 weeks i was told. On the bright side the Sales manager is giving me a 2020 750 as a loaner for the rest of the time. F90freak i wish you the best of luck and hope you are not in the same shoes. This means i wont have my brand new m5c for most of the summer and then go through another 2000km of break in
