This will provide an objective evaluation of how your oil is fairing with your driving style under your environmental conditions.
In the past I had tested synthetic oil coming out of BMW and MINI turbo engines, and the results always suggested longer interval then 5-6K, but shorter than 11K (I screwed up one time).
