I've beaten them, too. Being ready for them is the key—if you're not, yeah, it's all over... depending on when you consider the race "over" that is. Past 80mph, they're a bit meh.
On a dragstrip, they're no problem. Especially repeatedly and back to back. We get lighter, they get slower.
