I don't think VTknight is saying the Vette driver simply wanted to watch the M5 and didn't even try for a time, I read it as saying that he jokingly thinks the Vette driver wanted to know what happened with a 747's wing on its arse… 'cause it sure as hell isn't helping here. I think perhaps you're reading what you want to read into VTknight's post... maybe, just a little?

This isn't the only video out there; check out the others. There are plenty out there with the F90 taking down Huracans and 911s... and more Vettes. The numbers don't lie; the M5 with tweaked exhaust and a piggy has already cracked the 1/4 mile in 10.2 secs. With just a piggy, there are numerous cars in the 10.3s.
