[QUOTE=Aronis;26861496]That repair is COOL!!!!!

I have plugged tires myself 3 or 4 times and never had an issue. Those were nail holes not a slit LOL. My summer tires are spent anyway, so it's time to put the new rubber on. I have a set already to go. The front tires probably have some life left but oh well.

The place take it to is a bit out of my way and the repair costs double than a standard one.
But they can pretty much repair anything. A normal tyre place would not even consider repairing my tyre as it's too close to the sidewall. I've seen JCB tyres with pipes sticking through them the thickness of my arms going through the shop! It costs £200 to repair but that is still only 1/10 a new one.
I was happy to pay £30 for my repair 😀 as the F90 M5 is a heavy powerful car and I want the tyre to be as strong as original else I would just replace and it would be a waste as they're only 50% worn and due to covid19, I've only done 300 miles since April so they will last me ages at this rate!
