I Love my f80 but my dad has a 991.1 Turbo and the ride on his turbo is actually a better daily ride than the f80 which while not overly harsh struggles to handle certain surfaces well.
The 992 Carrera 4s will be a solid solid ride. Overall performance despite the additional 23 HP and 22 lb ft of torque- the 991.2 was running 11.5 at 121 MPH from Car and Driver - so I am guessing maybe a few tenths and MPH - 11.3 at 123 MPH - as Porsche never tells the truth but will want to half-decently out-do its previous gen. So it is still in the non-CP realm, and slower by a few tenths and MPH on average compared to the F90 M5. Dynamics, the Carrera 4s will be superior - it's simply a weight and length thing. Overall GT car - all season - hard to beat the F90. F90 CP will be quicker still, and the dynamic fight closer, but still in the Porsches favour. I have been within one tenth of a 991.2 Turbo with my CP in a straight line - at almost the same MPH (half MPH off).

Nice place to be - having to make these types of decisions...
